The two weeks before my period comes is always, to a pretty much canon degree, the point at which I end up having the darkest point with my mental health. Even though I know pmdd is largely due to hormones so I feel like technically I shouldn't be giving myself so much stick over telling myself that I'm "so weak" for crying more often or struggling significantly more than I usually would. But it still very much feels like something I should be able to deal with by myself (I take sertraline so therefore it doesnt feel like I'm dealing with my pmdd by "myself") I feel like this seems to be the case for many girls and women, and there really isn't enough research around the impacts of pmdd on the sufferer and the strain on family and friends. Its literally caused screaming matches between me and my parents, being in such a panicky anxious state that I literally just couldn't cope and I ended up hitting a light switch socket cracking it. And I didn't want to do it, but my anxiety was literally so overwhelming. And then after I go through a pmdd mental health crisis I will usually end up berating myself and telling myself that I'm an "evil" person/a bitch for weeks after I have a pmdd episode

I lost my job a year ago and have no motivation to get out of bed. The only thing I do is go to dance classes. I haven’t been able to find another job, work used to be the only thing that got me out of bed. Now I spend hours and hours on my phone as a distraction because I don’t have a purpose and zero motivation to do anything productive. Even if I want to be productive I usually get overwhelmed and give up then go back to my phone. It’s the only thing I have that distracts me from my perpetual loneliness.

Idk if anyone sees my comment now but it’ll be really helpful to know what concealer or which foundation you use to cover up scars with makeup

After a couple of years of being clean of sh i had a really bad day and relapsed, im trying to slowly get into the habit of taking a deeo breath and finding something to keeo me busy when i feeo thw urge , im trying not to fewl guilty ot ashamed about it but i really dont know who to go to for help with this

I js tell them I fell on the road for the visible ones on my wrist cuz it look like I scratched myself with something. I was dragging the cutter across my wrist, did not expect it to leave scars. anyway, I don’t think I can make up excuses for the ones on my arms, too many of them plus they’re all raised red-pinkish scars 😭😭

But what if I can’t buy anything and I don’t want to use the creams bcs I still want the scars but I have to hide it from people i know??

its different when you know a kid at your school get bullied for showing their scars - that kid also being your best friend - and now you're afraid of people shouting 'emo' at you on the hallways or fucking barking at you

I cut myself so as to make a drawing kind of thing so, 7 oblique scars like eye lashes and some not so beautiful eyeball, but i can't have any excuse cuz no ine would believe any rock or cat did that So, They: um, what's that on your wrist? How did you get those scars? Me : oh, i just wanted a tattoo and i was broke, so i got a permanent diy one

Im thirteen, i don’t do sh, or ever have, but I do have scars on my arms from things like cooking, playing outside, and sports. But I’m so self conscious of my scars because I feel people are always judging

My mother literally look at my arm and then literally.. LITERALLY said.. "Are you crazy? You want to die? Wtf is wrong with you?" And i was literally not in the mood so i was silent

I feel like unfortunately showing SH scars in every situation may not be the most appropriate, but as someone who has healed scars , we also shouldnt be making ourselves feel physically uncomfortable by going out of our way to hide our scars. However there are certain situations where i feel like we do need to take more consideration with wether we show scars or not. For me, those situations are if im in a public place and there are parents with their kids or babies with them or generally if im at an activity group where im around vulnerable people. Ultimately it is up to us as to how many situations we are showing our scars in, but i also feel like SH scars can generally be upsetting, unexpected, shocking or even "scary" to see on someones skin. So i generally show my healed scars in most situations but i try to be tactful as well

im 11 and i cut I have ADHD along with pattelofemoa pain syndrome got banned from my muslim school cuz they couldnt understand i have ADHD its a new school and they dont have many rules but ive been suspended twice in the middle of the year for 3 months and 1 month before summer currently its summer my parents decided that i should do classes on zoom so no interactions but being with people is what makes me feel better but now im thinkin maybr its a good thing everyone ive ever been friends with ive seperated from all of them some of them still “friends” but thry dont talk to me and everyone else thought i was a weird adhd kid i keep thinling of that quote where your not in the right place but even my parents said “people wirh adhd dont have feelings” and ouch that hurt a lot my parents don’t understand adhd well and my runners knee is getting worse and my parents arent doing anything my leg brace is missing idk how but my parents said my leg will heal on its own but it hasn’t pls pray for me and thanks for reading ❤️
